This rhodochrosite pendant is handcrafted from 14K/20 gold filled wire and a rhodochrosite cabochon (cab) from Argentina. It is accented by a white CZ. This is one of my favorites. It has some mica-like sparkles in the stone which go well with the sparkle of the CZ. There are also a couple of extremely tiny natural pockets in the face of the stone that I never noticed till I saw them in the photo. The camera really magnifies everything. 14K/20 gold filled wire is basically a tube of 14K gold with a jeweler’s wire down the center for flexibility. It wears well, does not tarnish, and has the same allergy reactions (or non-reactions) as 14K gold.
