This eudialyte pendant is handcrafted from 14K/20 gold filled wire and a eudialyte cabochon (cab) from Russia. The picture on the blue background tends to come out redder than the other pictures. The pictures in the hand and on the white background are taken with direct, bright lighting, and tend to come out a little more purple. The color does range between the two, depending on the lighting. As I’m looking at the stone and writing this, I think the picture on the blue background is closest to what I am seeing. It is hard to say though, because this stone really reacts to light. Looking at it sitting on the table, it looks red. Picking it up and moving it, you see the purple come out. Especially if you are looking from the right side, then it really looks like crackled glass with sparkly platelettes ranging from a light purple to a red-purple. 14K/20 gold filled wire is basically a tube of 14K gold with a jeweler’s wire down the center for flexibility. It wears well, does not tarnish, and has the same allergy reactions (or non-reactions) as 14K gold.
