This tiffany stone pendant is handcrafted from 14K/20 gold filled wire and a Tiffany Stone cabochon (cab) from Utah. This stone has wonderful colors and patterns. The dark black splotches show off great against the purple and extremely pale orangey color. Tiffany Stone is a rare stone that goes by many names, including bertrandite, beryllium ore, opal fluorite, opalized fluorite, Purple Opal, and Ice Cream Opalite. This cab has wonderful purple colors accented by black. 14K/20 gold filled wire is basically a tube of 14K gold with a jeweler’s wire down the center for flexibility. It wears well, does not tarnish, and has the same allergy reactions (or non-reactions) as 14K gold.
