This tiffany stone pendant is handcrafted from 14K/20 gold filled wire, a gold filled bead, 3 czech glass druk beads, and a Tiffany Stone cabochon (cab) from Utah. Tiffany Stone is a rare stone that goes by many names, including bertrandite, beryllium ore, opal fluorite, opalized fluorite, Purple Opal, and Ice Cream Opalite. This cab has wonderful purple colors. In the picture, it has what looks like a gold spot near the gold bead. This is actually a very small, natural pocket with some very tiny crystals around the inside. 14K/20 gold filled wire is basically a tube of 14K gold with a jeweler’s wire down the center for flexibility. It wears well, does not tarnish, and has the same allergy reactions (or non-reactions) as 14K gold.
