This tiffany stone pendant is handcrafted from 14K/20 gold filled wire and a Tiffany Stone cabochon (cab) from Utah. I love the markings on this stone. I’m not sure where the red reflection is coming from in the picture on the black background. Tiffany Stone is a rare stone that goes by many names, including bertrandite, beryllium ore, opal fluorite, opalized fluorite, Purple Opal, and Ice Cream Opalite. This cab is really a striking stone. The purple, black, and white color combination is called white glacier. 14K/20 gold filled wire is basically a tube of 14K gold with a jeweler’s wire down the center for flexibility. It wears well, does not tarnish, and has the same allergy reactions (or non-reactions) as 14K gold.
