This ruby in zoisite heart pendant is handcrafted from 14K/20 gold filled wire and a ruby-zoisite cabochon (cab) from Africa. I’m having a terrible time capturing the true color in this stone. It is coming out very dark in the pictures. The red is more of a brick red and is fairly uniform in color. The green is almost a blue green in places and is much lighter than the pictures. There is a nice contrast between the green and the red. 14K/20 gold filled wire is basically a tube of 14K gold with a jeweler’s wire down the center for flexibility. It wears well, does not tarnish, and has the same allergy reactions (or non-reactions) as 14K gold. Each of my cabochon pendants are "one-of-a-kind" and you are selecting the actual one you will be receiving.
