Have some of Grandma’s ornate pins? Turn them into a pendant! (They look great with pearls.) For this product, I start with one of the resale pin to pendant converters and add a bail that will fit over pearls/beads. The white beads in the picture are 8mm and the "standard" pin to pearls converter (9mm bail) fits easily over them. The standard bail size also fits easily over omegas. The black beads in the picture are 10 mm and the "large" pin to pearls converter (10.5mm bail) fits easily over them. The pin to beads converters also work well with twisted, multiple strands of smaller beads. If you need a larger bail, put the size information in Order Comments. If you have a known pin you want to use this with, put the measurement from the pin stem to the top of the pin in Order Comments, to help me judge how tall to make the bail.  The converter on the white beads is 24mm tall and that pin is approximately 17mm from the pin stem to the top of the pin. The converter on the black beads  is 27mm tall and that pin is approximately 15mm from the pin stem to the top of the pin. HEAVY PINS that the pin stem turns freely in the resale converter will flop down. To prevent this, I gently press down on the ends of the resale converter, to tighten them somewhat.  This should give your pin stem some resistance as it goes in.  If I have not tightened it enough, you can add some more resistance by putting the conveter on the pin and GENTLY pressing each end with a pair of pliers.
